March 14, 1991|By Nestor Aparicio

* WHEN: Tonight, 7:40.

* WHERE: Springfield Civic Center.

* RADIO: WLIF-AM 1300.

* OUTLOOK: The Skipjacks (36-29-5) are playing their best hockey of the season, winning four in a row on the road and playing great defense along the way. Goalie Jim Hrivnak has allowed just seven goals in the four games and just one in the last two. The Indians (37-35-8), on top of the Northern Division with 82 points, are without center Terry Yake and goalie Kay Whitmore, two of their key players. The Jacks, holding third place in the Southern Division, return home Saturday and Sunday against Cape Breton.
