Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Central District -- Police reported that someone forced open a door at a home in the 1700 block of Park Ave. and stole several phonograph records, cassette tapes, shoes, a compact disc player and a .22-caliber handgun, all valued at more than $1,300.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- Police are seeking a man who forced his way into a home in the 2600 block of Beethoven Ave. early yesterday and cut Isaac and Katherine Jacobs with a knife. The assailant fled apparently without taking anything. The Jacobses were treated at Sinai Hospital.

ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police investigating the attempted break-in of the KC Deli in the 4100 block of Pimlico Road arrested and charged Renault Watkins, 29, of no fixed address. He is being held in lieu of $7,500 bail.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Delores Wright, of the 3800 block of Chatham Road, reported that someone broke into her home and stole medical equipment and food items, all valued at more than $2,000.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking three men, one armed with a handgun, who entered Fred & Fred New & Used Furniture store in the 4200 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday afternoon and robbed an employee of $100.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of W. Lexington St. reported that someone broke a window in **TC house he owns in the 4800 block of Homer Ave., but he did not know if anything was stolen.

RAPE: Northwestern District -- Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man for raping a woman in a house yesterday after threatening her with a knife. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center. From information she provided, police obtained a warrant for Jimmie McCoy Eason, of no permanent address, who was recently released from the City Jail.

BREAK-IN: Northern District -- Employees of the York Road Auto Repair Center in the 4800 block of York Road reported that someone threw a car battery through an office window and stole a microwave oven valued at nearly $140.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a female resident of the 4300 block of Pimlico Road and were holding her pending charges that she attempted to cut Derrick Nelson with a knife at his home in the 2700 block of Cylburn Ave. early yesterday during an argument.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of Sweet Air St. in Hampden reported that someone cut out a section of screen in a rear door at his home and stole cash and some prescription drugs, all valued at $300.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Kevin Rivers, of the 1200 block of Darley Ave., reported that two men, one armed with a handgun, accosted him in the 400 block of Whitridge Ave. and robbed him of his leather coat, some cash and his wallet, all valued at nearly $340.

THEFT: Northern District -- Mary Dent, of the first block of Blythewood Road, reported that someone broke a window in her parked car in the 5400 block of Roland Ave. yesterday and stole a $175 radar detector.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the Concord Apartments in the 2500 block of W. Belvedere Ave. reported that someone entered his apartment with a key and stole more than $150.

BREAK-IN: Northern District -- Someone forced open the front door of the Portside Bar in the 4600 block of York Road during a 20-minute absence of the owner yesterday afternoon and stole the cash register, containing an undetermined amount of money.

BREAK-IN: Northern District -- Someone pried off a lock at a garage in the 100 block of Woodlawn Road and removed two bicycles valued at $600.

BREAK-IN: Northern District -- Employees of Byrdland, a store in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave., reported that someone broke into the shop by cutting a hole in the roof and stole $400.

THEFT: Northern District -- Hargis Fletcher, of the 3800 block of Cottage Ave., reported that someone entered his home and stole a VCR valued at several hundred dollars. He suspects an acquaintance.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into an apartment under renovation in the 6000 block of Amberwood Road and stole a worker's bag of tools, valued at more than $500.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Officials of the Bond Lumber Co. in the 4600 block of Harford Road told police that on two occasions during the weekend three men entered the property and stole more than 50 pieces of 48-inch-by-96-inch wood lattice work, valued at nearly $800.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5900 block of Leith Walk reported that someone broke into his home through a basement window over the weekend and stole $25,000 in bonds and a VCR, jewelry and cash, all valued at more than $600.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Employees of the James A. Quick Co. in Forest Hill, Harford County, reported that someone broke into a company vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Christopher Ave. and stole property valued at $700.
