Recipient's comments: "It was a pretty good season. I went into the tournament more prepared and wrestled better than in the regular season. The team had a pretty good season also. We had a few tough losses or else we would have finished alone in second place in the county. Coach (Solomon) Carr had a good year and really helped us out. (After graduating) I would like to get a wrestling scholarship at a Division II college or possibly goto a Division I school."
