SYKESVILLE — The developers of the proposed Raincliffe Business Center will meet with the Town Council at tomorrow's regular meeting, this time for a vote on the financing of the industrial-retail complex.
The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at the Town House, 7547 Main St.
Security Enterprises Inc. of Ellicott City, Howard County, had proposed financing the center with a $1.5 million state and county loanthat would be administered by the town.
The council rejected a motion Feb. 25 to introduce an ordinance creating a special tax district for the loan package.
In a special closed session Tuesday, Security Enterprises offered the town additional collateral protection on the loan, said Town Manager James L. Schumacher.
