A parochial school in Essex was vandalized yesterday for the second time in less than a month, according to Baltimore County police.
The break-in at St. Clare's School in the 700 block of Myrth Avenue in Essex was discovered just before 7 a.m. when a custodian arrived to open the building, police said.
Sgt. Stephen R. Doarnberger, apolice spokesman, said someone broke a window in a rear door to get into the school. The intruders then overturned file cabinets, rummaged through classrooms on both floors of the building and emptied food from a refrigerator, Sergeant Doarnberger said.
The sergeant said $50 in cash was taken. Sergeant Doarnberger said the school was also broken into Feb. 11.
