Lisa H. McKinney Freel is named director of reunion programs for Western Maryland College's Office of Development. She was previously a marine information specialist for the federal government, and before that was a social work intern at Rosewood Hospital.

Accounting

Gwen Goldman is promoted to group manager for the Real Estate Services Group of Walpert, Smullian & Blumenthal. She specializes in providing financial, tax and consulting services to land developers, builders and contractors.

At Naden Lean Certified Public Accountants, Darryl A. Bodner and Timothy D. Lott are promoted to principals. Bodner was previously accounting manager for the firm, and specializes in tax and business planning for small business and health care professional practices. Lott was also an accounting manager, and specializes in tax and strategic planning for the professional service industry.

Peter N. Berube in promoted to accounting manager from staff accountant. He specializes in tax and business planning for small manufacturing and service businesses and a variety of health care organizations.

Mary B. Boyer is promoted to firm administrator at Naden Lean. She was previously manager of data processing, and is responsible for all issues regarding administration as well as personnel, accounts payable and receivable.

John L. Fitzgerald is named chief executive officer/president of the Bon Secours Health System Inc. He joined the system in 1989 as chief operating officer with responsibilities for all of the acute care and long term care facilities, as well as the management information system. Before that, he held a variety of positions with the Hospital Corp. of America.

Dr. Harold B. Bob was installed as president of the Baltimore County Medical Association. He is a family practice physician in Pikesville.

Robert J. Aumiller, executive vice president and general counsel to MacKenzie & Associates, is elected president of the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks. He is a former state's attorney and partner with the law firm of White, Mindel, Clarke & Hill and has been an officer with NAIOP since 1987.

Thomas D. Wolfe is named a partner in the law firm of Kaplan, Heyman, Greenberg, Engelman & Belgrad. He joined the firm in 1986 and has practiced family law since 1981. Madeline A. Jenkins is promoted to assistant vice president in the Commercial Operations Department for Signet Bank. She is in charge of the check processing, thrift unit. She joined the bank in 1969 in the Special Checking Department and most recently worked as operations officer.

At the Rothschild Co., an investment management firm, Joseph "Skip" Klein 3rd is appointed senior investment analyst and Gregory S. Watson is named senior portfolio manager.

Klein was previously vice president and investment analyst with T. Rowe Price Associates Inc. Before that, he was an investment analyst for Neuberger & Berman in New York.

Watson was previously an investment officer for Crestar Bank N.A., where he managed portfolios for individual and institutional investors.

Advertising

Marilyn Kern joins Creative Minds Inc., an advertising and public relations firm in Fells Point, as vice president/account management. She was previously account supervisor at Emery Advertising.

Engineering:Engineering: Robert F. Anderson is named general manager of Katalistiks International, a unit of UOP. He is responsible for its fluid cracking catalyst business worldwide. He was previously managing director of UOP N.V. in Antwerp, Belgium.

Archives

Tim Pyatt is appointed archivist IV for the Maryland State Archives. He is in charge of processing as well as working in reference, helping patrons in the Archives' public search room. He was previously a special collections librarian at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
