Even though Johns Hopkins couldn't get past Franklin & Marshall in the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs over the weekend, the Blue Jays' Andy Enfield capped off his career with a game to remember.
Enfield scored 22 points in the 65-56 loss in Lancaster, Pa., ending his career with 2,024 points. He also went 5-for-5 from the foul line, giving him the all-time single-season percentage lead for all divisions of the NCAA. He finished 120-for-126 (95.2 percent).
Enfield was the only player in double figures for Hopkins (19-10). Franklin & Marshall (25-2) is ranked second in the country.
Salisbury State (22-7) also lost on the road Saturday, falling to Ramapo (N.J.), 87-75, in the first round of the Division III tournament. Ramapo (22-6) held the Sea Gulls' Andre Foreman to a season-low 15 points on 6-for-18 shooting.
