Champion Realty welcomes two new sales associates to its Annapolis-Arnold office at 438 Revell Highway, Annapolis.

Dave and Mona Lacovey, both professional sales associates, hold numerous company honors as members of county's Distinguished Sales Achievement Club.

Dave Lacovey has been a residential resale agent who expanded into land development.

Mona Lacovey has been a licensed real estate agent for four years. She is currently working to attain her CRS designation and a marketing degree from the University of Maryland. Her specialty is residential sales.

The Lacoveys have been residents of Annapolis for 17 years.

MCCRONE EXPANDS

McCrone Inc.'s construction services department has recently expanded, adding four new members to its team. McCrone is an engineering, environmental consulting, land planning and surveying firm with headquarters in Annapolis.

Harvey S. Ragland, Jr. is a new construction inspection supervisor. With over 27 years of engineering and construction management experience, Ragland attended Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C., as well asthe College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

A construction inspector at McCrone, Mark A. Kuchta is a member of the American Concrete Institute and the Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories. A certified concrete tester and soils technician, Kuchta is experienced in site inspection and concrete design and analysis.

Steven L. Simpson, also a construction inspector, is an experienced residential and commercial construction manager, with experience on roadway, building, water and wastewater facility projects.He has been responsible for job layout, communications with local, state and federal authorities and coordination of subcontractors.

Ragland, Kuchta,and Simpson are all currently working on the Cobb Island WastewaterTreatment Facility in Charles County.

Thomas J. DiLego joined thedepartment as construction engineer. A graduate of civil engineeringfrom Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass., DiLego is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is experienced in civil/site development, waste and wastewater treatment facilities and storm water management. His current projects include the computerized tracking of all construction service projects, including the water treatment plant at the Stevensville Educational Complex in Queen Anne's County.

In other activity at McCrone:

* Virginia L. Dadds, engineer in training, has joined the Annapolis headquarters of McCrone Inc. asan engineer in the developmental engineering department.

Dadds holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland. She is experienced in civil/site development, stormwater management, water and wastewater management and road design plans. She is currently working on the South River Colony Commercial Complex in southern Anne Arundel County.

A resident of Centreville, Dadds is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Prior to joining the Annapolis office, Dadds was an engineer in the Centreville office of McCrone Inc.

* Todd R. Mohn, and Robert J. Ward recently joined McCrone Inc., at its Annapolis Headquarters.

Mohn, an engineer in training, has joined the engineering, environmental consulting, land planning and surveying firm in its development engineering department.

A graduate of Purdue University, Mohn received his bachelor of science degree in land surveying and civil engineering.He is experienced in civil/site development, storm water management,utility and landscape design, and sediment and erosion control. He is currently working on Raven's Ridge, a residential subdivision in southern Anne Arundel County.

Mohn is a resident of Centreville and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Ward joined the development engineering department of McCrone, bringing with him abachelor of science degree in civil engineering technology from Old Dominion University, as well as extensive experience in civil/site development, water and wastewater management, storm water management and soil and erosion control. Currently he is working on the Cromwell Business Park in northern Anne Arundel County and Bella Vista, a residential subdivision in the southern part of the county.

Prior to joining the Annapolis office, Ward was an engineer in McCrone's Elkton office.

WACKER RECEIVES AWARD

George Wacker, an associate technical director and head of the ship materials engineering department at the David Taylor Research Center in Annapolis, has received a Presidential Rank Award for meritorious service.

Wacker is one of 326 executives to receive the award out of 7,800 senior executives in the federal government.
