Charles F. Anderson Retired C&P worker

Services for Charles F. Anderson, a retired C&P Telephone Co. repairman, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Singleton Funeral Home in Glen Burnie.

Mr. Anderson, a lifelong resident of Ferndale, died Friday of an apparent heart attack at his son's home in Mexico City. He was 86.

Born in Washington, he was a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Anderson worked at C&P for more than 50 years. He retired in 1969.

Mr. Anderson's wife, the former Dorothy M. Atlee, died in June.

He is survived by three sons, David W. Anderson of Mexico City, Michael L. Anderson of Ferndale and Eric C. Anderson of Bowie; a daughter, Jean A. Thompson of Maryland City; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
