Armed Man Robs Glen Burnie Station

County police are looking for a gunman who robbed a Glen Burnie gas station Monday.

Police said the man walked up to the window of the station in the 7600 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard at 2 p.m. and asked for a pack of cigarettes. When the clerk reached for the cigarettes, the robber put a gun to the window.

He told the clerk to give him all the money. The clerk gave him all the money in the cash drawer and the robber ran away.

Police described the robber as a white male in his mid-20s. He had light brown hair and was wearing a gray coat and a black baseball cap.


A Pasadena teen-ager was robbed Monday while she and another girl were walking to school, county police said.

The girls were walking along a wooded pathway near Wheelhouse Way at about 8:15 a.m. when they saw a man sitting on the ground.

Just as the girls passed him, he yelled "Stop," and ran up to them, police said.

He told the girls to empty their purses. The robber took one girl's wallet and ran away, police said. The girls wereunharmed.

Police described the robber as a white male in his late teens, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with pimples and dark eyes. He was wearing jeans, a hooded sweat shirt and black gloves.
