A Glen Burnie man who police say stabbed another man Saturday was charged with assault with intent to murder.
Danny Phillips, 20, of the 7700 block Norfolk Road, was charged shortly after the 12:09 a.m. incident, police said.
Police said they were called to a home in the 800 block of North Shore Road and found Anthony Lazzara, 40, of that address, lying in the living room bleeding.
WOMAN GETS A RIDE BUT THEN IS ATTACKED
A 25-year-old Baltimore woman was sexually assaulted Sunday after accepting a ride from a man who said he would take her to work.
County police said the man turned off Ritchie highway and drove down a dirt road. After they struggled outside the car, he hit the woman in theface with a gun. She was knocked unconscious.
When she woke up she had no clothes on, police said.
She went to Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, where she called police.
Police described the man as black with a muscular build and in his early 30s. He was wearing black pants and a short green jacket, and was driving a brown car with a beige interior.
PIZZA HUT WORKER ROBBED BY GUNMAN
A man with a gun robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant in Glen Burnie Sunday.
County police said the robber walked up to an employee leaving the restaurant with a bank deposit at 8:30 p.m. and demanded the money. The employee gaveit to him.
The robber was described as a white male wearing whitepants and a red bandanna over his face.
31 BAGS OF CRACK ARE SEIZED AT HOTEL
County police seized dozens of bags of crack cocaine during a raid of a hotel room in North County.
Police confiscated 31small bags of crack and $119 during the Sunday raid.
Curtis Long,24, of the 4100 block Hyden Court in Baltimore, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, police said.
RIVA MAN MUGGED ON WAY TO A FRIEND
A Riva man was robbed Friday as he was walking down Central Avenue in Edgewater.
County police said the man was walking to a friend's house about 8:45 p.m. when two men approached and knocked him down.
They took his wallet with $25 in it and ablack bag containing a flashlight and a T-shirt.
The victim ran to the nearest home and called police.
Police described the robbersas two black males wearing dark clothing.
MAN ATTEMPTS TO ROB WOMAN IN LINTHICUM
County police are looking for a man who tried to rob a Linthicum woman Saturday outside the Comfort Inn there.
Policesaid the woman was walking toward the entrance of the inn on Route 648 about 11:30 p.m. when a man walked up and asked for directions.
She suggested he ask the hotel clerk. The man followed her to the door, then tried to grab her by the back of the neck and started demanding money.
The woman pushed the man away and ran inside.
Policedescribed the robber as a white male about 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing jeans and a jean jacket.
