2 Aberdeen Women Linked To Burglaries Here, In Pa.

Two Aberdeen women have been charged for at least nine burglaries ineastern Harford County and Pennsylvania, the county Sheriff's Department said.

Investigators recovered jewelry, videocassette recorders, microwave ovens, cash and a 5-month-old Pomeranian dog that the women are charged with netting in the burglaries, the department said.

The Pomeranian puppy was taken during one of the six Pennsylvaniaburglaries. The dog, unharmed, has been returned to its owners, the Sheriff's Department said.

Elsie M. Butler, 20, of the unit block Swan Street, was charged Thursday with three counts each of burglary and theft for break-ins in Havre de Grace and Aberdeen in December, say records in Harford District Court.

Jettie H. Johnson, 20, of the 300 block of Jefferson Circle, was charged with two counts each of burglary and theft.

Butler and Johnson were charged for two burglaries on Dec. 12 -- one in the 4000 block of Wilkinson Road, Havre de Grace, and one in the 700 block of Carsins Run Road, Aberdeen, court records show.

The women are accused of taking jewelry, a VCR and amicrowave, valued at a total of $4,320, from the two houses, court records show.

Butler was charged for a third burglary in the 800 block of Carsins Run Road on Dec. 14, court records say. Jewelry valuedat $4,050 was stolen in that incident.
