* OUTLOOK: The Capitals (27-31-3) lost all three on their West Coast swing and are 1-4 against the Rangers. Right wing John Kordic has been reinstated and is expected to play tonight. Peter Bondra, Rod Langway and Dimitri Khristich still are nursing injuries, but could see action by the end of the weekend. The Rangers (31-21-10) are without Bernie Nicholls, who is serving the last game of a suspension for a stick-swinging incident. The Caps play 12 of their final 19 at the Capital Centre.
