Berkley F. Carroll Ran contracting firm

Services for Berkley F. Carroll, president of a Baltimor contracting company, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West St. in Annapolis.

Mr. Carroll, who was 50 and lived in Severn, died Monday of cancer at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He was president of B. F. Contractors Inc., a general contracting company specializing in paving and related work. He started the company in 1970 as a dump truck hauling outfit.

He was born and reared in Arnold and was a gradute of Bates High School in Annapolis.

He is survived by his wife, the former Anne Hester; three sons, Barry Carroll of Baltimore and Andre and Berkley J. Carroll, both of Severn; a daughter, Lisa Carroll of Baltimore; two sisters, Sudie Gomez of Severn and Willie Mae Cager of Jones Station; three brothers, Louis Carroll of Newport News, Va., and Cyril and Lavell Palmer, both of Jones Station; and 11 grandchildren.
