Pizza Deliveryman Robbed In Severn

A Domino's Pizza deliveryman was robbed Tuesday in Severn.

Countypolice said that as the man was delivering pizza to a home on Clearwater Court at 12:40 a.m., two men walked up to him and held a knife to his face.

After being given about $25, the robbers ran toward the Still Meadows area, police said.

Police described the robbers as black men in their early 20s. One was wearing a black jacket, and the other a white sweat shirt.


A 17-year-old Glen Burnie youth was charged with possession of crack cocaine Tuesday after police searched his home.

County police said officers served the warrant in the 600 block of Waterwheel Lane, seizing about $200 worth of crack and $35.

The Glen Burnie youth also was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, county police said.


A Glen Burnie youth washit by a car Tuesday night, county police reported.

Michael WayneShacka, 13, of the 100 block Stevens Road, was hit at about 9 p.m. when he ran from the parking lot of Brown's Honda into traffic on Ritchie Highway.

Police said the driver of the car swerved to the leftto try to avoid hitting the boy.

Shacka was taken to Johns Hopkins University Hospital, where he was listed in satisfactory condition yesterday.

6400 block of GraftonDrive: Feb. 17, entry gained through the window. Unknown property taken.

100 block of Carroll Road: Feb. 13, entry gained through the door. Unknown property taken.

7300 block of Ritchie Highway: Feb. 19, entry gained through the door. Unknown property taken.
