Woman Charged In Domestic Dispute

An Annapolis woman was charged with stabbing her husband Saturday during a domestic dispute.

Susan Fontes, 30, of the 600 block of Americana Drive, was charged after police were called to her home at 4:26 a.m.

Officers found the woman and her husband sitting in the living room. The man was covered with blood, police said.

The woman told police she stabbed her husband because she was tired of his beating her, the police report said.

Robert Fontes was treated and released from Anne Arundel Medical Center.

He was also charged with failing to appear in court on previous charges.

SEARCH CONTINUES FOR ROBBERY SUSPECT

County police were still searching yesterday for the manwho robbed the Jumper's Mall Shell station Friday.

Police said the man walked into the station, in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway, at 10:15 p.m. and demanded money.

When the clerk gave the man money, he left the station, police said.

Police described the robber as a white man, about 5 feet 6 inchestall and wearing a brown flannel jacket, baseball cap and blue jeans.

GLEN BURNIE RESTAURANT ROBBED THURSDAY NIGHT

A man with a gun robbed the Pizza Hut restaurant inGlen Burnie Thursday.

County police said a man walked into the restaurant, in the 7900 block of Crain Highway, at 11 p.m., took out a small revolver and demanded money.

He took $400 from the register ripped the phone receivers out of the wall and ordered the restaurant employees into the restrooms, police said.

Police decribed the robber as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a green army-style jacket, a gray ski cap and a blue and white bandanna.

ATTEMPTED HOLD-UP OF ANNAPOLIS MAN

Police are looking for a man who, they say, tried to rob a 51-year-old Annapolis man Sunday.

Annapolis police said that as the victim was walking down Fifth Avenue at 7:45 p.m., the man walked up to him brandishinga gun.

The man demanded money, which the victim refused to give up. The suspect hit the man in the face with the gun and ran down Fifth Avenue.

Police described the robber as a black man in his 30s, wearing a gray jacket, red shirt and faded jeans.
