Bullets preview

VS. CHICAGO BULLS

* WHERE: Chicago Stadium.

* WHEN: Tonight, 8:30.

* TV/RADIO: Channel 20, WTOP-AM 1500.

* OUTLOOK: The Bullets (22-30) have struggled to win on the road and the Bulls (36-14) haven't lost at home in 17 games. The Bullets had lost three straight before turning in a fine performance at the Arena Sunday, a 108-104 victory over Cleveland, while the Bulls (36-14) are on a six-game winning streak.

The teams have split in their two previous meetings this season, with each winning at home. Maybe it's time for a reversal of fortune, as the Bullets strive to better their position in a four-team race to the final spot in the playoffs.

If so, Wes Unseld's team will have to do it tonight without forwards Mark Alarie (knee tendinitis) and Tom Hammonds (flu), who did not travel, and guards Darrell Walker (strained knee) and Haywoode Workman (pulled groin muscle), who remain on the injured list.
