Bert E. Webb

Bert E. Webb, a retired construction inspector at Aberdeen Proving Ground, died Saturday of heart failure at the Harford Memorial Hospital.

Services for Mr. Webb, who was 72 and lived in Havre de Grace, were being held today at the Patterson funeral establishment in Perryville.

The Mount Union, Pa., native retired in 1973 after working at the Army post for 25 years.

He was a member of the Susquehanna Lodge of the Masons, the Scottish Rite, Boumi Temple, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

He is survived by his wife, the former Eleanor T. Barnard; a daughter, Ada E. Patterson of Eldersburg; a sister, Beatrice W. Higgins of Havre de Grace; and two brothers, Merrill C. Webb of Altoona, Pa., and James C. Webb of Elyria, Ohio.
