Benjamin B. Cooper, a founder of Cooper's Camera Mart Inc., died Sunday after a heart attack at his home on West Rogers Avenue. He was 83.
Services for Mr. Cooper were being held today at the Levinson funeral establishment, 6010 Reisterstown Road.
He had stayed active as a partner in the Hamilton camera shop that he and his brother, Harry B. Cooper started in 1946.
He often lectured at meetings of the Baltimore Camera Club and other groups and held photographic shows at the shop.
A native of Boston who was reared in Baltimore, Mr. Cooper was a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute and the University of Maryland Law School.
