Post-war Iraq

It's your call

February 19, 1991

Last week, Iraq included in its peace initiative a demand for reparations for damages inflicted by the U.S.-led coalition forces. A Soviet plan this week reportedly would keep the Iraqi government and borders intact, and would bar punitive actions against President Saddam Hussein.

Do you believe any of those conditions should be met if they would bring peace to the Persian Gulf?

To register your opinion, call SUNDIAL at 783-1800 (or 268-7736 in Anne Arundel County) today until midnight. It's a local call in the Baltimore area. After you hear the greeting, you'll be asked to enter a four-digit code on your Touch-Tone phone. Enter 4600 and you'll be connected with "It's Your Call," The Evening Sun's phone survey on topical issues.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.

Look for the results in Wednesday's Evening Sun.
