Jack Wulfert Towson merchant

Services for Jack Wulfert, 88, a retired Towson merchant, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 West Allegany Ave., Towson.

Mr. Wulfert, who lived at Edenwald in Towson, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital.

A Baltimore native, he attended local public schools. For 22 years, he owned and operated E & J Liquors at 413 York Road in Towson. He was president of the Maryland Liquor Stores Association from 1949 to 1957 and in 1958 served as president of the Towson Shrine.

In the 1950s and 1960s, he was an active member of the Towson Business Association. He retired in 1966.

Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Wulfert Ryer of Ruxton; two sisters, Julia Carolyn Krammer of Baltimore and Augusta Francis Davis of Ocean City; three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
