Aberdeen town officials are setting up their own memorial to honor the troops fighting in the Persian Gulf war.

Town officials are asking residents to send in pictures of their friends or relatives servingin the war to be displayed in the foyer of Aberdeen's municipal office at 3 W. Bel Air Ave.

Pictures of troops can be dropped off at the office building or sent to Mary Law, Aberdeen Town Office, P.O. Box 70, Aberdeen, Md. 21001.
