Woman Assaulted In Bel Air Apartment

A 27-year-old Bel Air woman reported to town police that she was sexually assaulted outside her apartment building on Feb. 8, police said.

The woman told police that as she was taking out the trash behind her apartment building, a man attacked and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect, who fled from the scene, is described as a black man between 28 and 33 years old, police said. He was wearing a flannel shirt and a baseball cap.

MOLNAR CHARGED IN BEL AIR ASSAULT

Robert A. Molnar, 28, of Timonium, Baltimore County, was charged with attacking his estranged girlfriend in her Bel Air apartment Feb. 10, town police reported.

Molnar was charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to rape, assault with intent to commit a sexual offense, assault and battery, police said.

Harford District Court records show that Molnar is accused of holding a plastic bag over the woman's face, choking her with a telephone cord and punching her in the stomach.

Molnar was released on $50,000 bond.

500 block Baltimore Pike: Four adding machines, a microwave oven, videocassette recorder, camera, vacuum cleaner and cash totaling $1,600 were stolen from Nutri Systems Inc.

Feb. 9, town police said.

1500 block Deerfield Road: A porch railing anda window were damaged during an attempted burglary at a house Feb. 7, the county Sheriff's Department said. Damage totaled $350.

3800 block Smith Road: Pistols, tools and a ring worth $415 were stolen froma house Feb. 6, the Sheriff's Department said.

Edgewood

900 block Swallowcrest Drive: A 1984 Yamaha motorcycle worth $1,800 was stolen Feb. 6, the Sheriff's Department said.

Havre de Grace:

800 block Revolution Street: Cash totaling $585 was stolen from Owen Realty's office Feb. 11, town police said.

200 block North Earlton Road: A $470 pellet gun was stolen from a house Feb. 7, the Sheriff's Department said.

Joppa

300 block Trimble Road: A television was stolen and a door was damaged during a burglary at a house Feb. 7, the Sheriff's Department said. Loss totaled $570.

Joppatowne

800 block Bartlett Court: Four tires, an interior kit and a T-top worth $2,800 werestolen from a garage Feb. 7, the Sheriff's Department said.

700 block Pulaski Highway: Four sets of welding cables worth $1,600 were taken from a parking lot Feb. 7, the Sheriff's Department said.
