Woman Is Mugged In Parole Plaza Lot

A Crownsville woman was slightly injured Wednesday when a man stole her purse in the parking lot of Parole Plaza.

Nancy L. Hopper toldpolice she was walking to her car about 7:50 p.m. near the FirstAmerican Bank when a man grabbed her pocketbook and ran toward the Sears outlet. Another man who apparently was with the suspect also ran away.

Hopper had $22 in the purse.

2 MEN ARE ACCUSED OF HAVING MARIJUANA

County police arrested two men on drug charges Sunday evening in the Ridgeview Plaza shopping center in Severn.

Police said theywere answering a complaint that two men were smoking marijuana in a van.

A police officer asked the two men to get out of the van and saw two burnt marijuana cigarettes in the ash tray and smelled a strong odor of marijuana, the report said.

William Edgar Pack Sr., 36,of the 8300 block Pioneer Drive, Severn, and Randolph Alexander Pack, of the 1700 block Old Calvert Court, Severn, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Millersville:

200 block Najoles Drive, Feb. 4; entry gained through doors of a construction trailer. Generator, power saw and a camera taken. Total loss: $820.

Odenton:

1100 block Odenton Road, Feb. 11; entry gained through rear door of office building. Antique ship anchor taken. Total loss: unknown.

1200 block Queen Anne Avenue, Feb. 12; entry gained through rear door. Nothing taken.
