John A. Day Pharmacy technician

A memorial service for John A. Day, a pharmacy technician at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center, will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Preston and Eden streets.

Mr. Day, who was 41 and a resident of Chestnut Street in Turners Station, died of kidney failure Monday at the hospital where he had worked for 22 years, starting when it was City Hospitals.

Born in Chicago and reared in Turners Station, he was a graduate of Douglass High School.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth S. Day of Turners Station; a brother, Joseph R. Day of Pasadena; and a sister, Patricia D. Cooke of Harrisburg, Pa.
