Services for John A. Moore, retired manager of the Proctor-Silex plant in Southwest Baltimore, will be held at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 30 Melvin Ave. in Catonsville.
Mr. Moore, who was 65, died Saturday after a heart attack at his home on Westside Boulevard in Catonsville.
He retired five years ago after working for the appliance company for 30 years, many of them in Philadelphia.
He was born in Philadelphia and graduated from La Salle College, where he majored in chemistry.
Mr. Moore served in the Marine Corps in World War II and was deafened by a shell concussion on Iwo Jima.
