Man, 19, Is Charged After Fight At Atm

A fight at an Annapolis automatic teller machine Saturday left one man charged with robbery and assault and battery.

The charges were filed against Darius Green, 19, of the 100 block Clay Street, Annapolis police said.

Two officers patrolling Church Circle saw two men fighting in front of the teller machine, police reported. One of the men was trying to pull the other away from the machine as money was coming out.

MAN IS HELD UP OUTSIDE HIS HOME

An Annapolis man was robbed Saturdayoutside his Fourth Street home.

Annapolis police reported the manwas walking through a gate into his yard at about 7 p.m. As he closed the gate door, someone grabbed him and took about $40.

Police gave no description of the robber.

ANNAPOLIS MAN, 21, STABBED IN STOMACH

An Annapolis man was stabbed early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Bens Drive.

Annapolis police said the man was in the parking lot when three men walked up to him. One of them stabbed him in the stomach.

Rodell Doron Surgeon, 21, of the first block Bens Drive, was treated at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Police had no description of the assailants.

MAN, 39, IS CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT

An Annapolis woman was sexually assaulted Sunday as she was walking home, police said.

Annapolis police said the woman was walking on Dorsey Avenue at about 6:45 p.m. when a man walked up and grabbed her.

As he tried to pull her clothes off, the woman began screaming. Some of the woman's friends pulled the man off her and called police.

Ronaldo Tubaya, 39, of the first block Hicks Avenue, was charged with a fourth-degree sex offense.

BALTIMORE WOMAN RAPED AFTER RIDE

A 40-year-old Baltimore woman was raped Saturday, county police reported.

A man picked the woman up at about 3 a.m. from a narcotics anonymous meeting in Severna Park, police said. He offered to giveher a ride a home, but instead drove her to an unknown location and raped her, police said.

Police described the rapist as a white male about 40 years old with long dark hair and crooked teeth, wearing ared T-shirt and jeans.

COCAINE POSSESSION IS CHARGED TO MAN

A 28-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine Saturday.

Mark Albert Lee, of no fixed address, was charged after officers found him with the drugs in Freetown Village.

Thepolice said narcotics officers had seen a man making several drug transactions in the neighborhood.

WOMAN IS ROBBED IN BROOKLYN PARK

A 32-year-old Baltimore woman was robbed Friday in Brooklyn Park.

The police said the woman was in her car, in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway, when a man ran up and smashed the driver's side window with a gun.

He reached into the car, took the woman's briefcase and ran toward 15th Avenue.

Police described the man as black, about 5feet 9 inches tall, with short hair.

MAN WITH SHOTGUN ROBS RESTAURANT

A man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed a Subway restaurant in Glen Burnie Saturday.

Police reported the robber walked into the restaurant, in the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway, at 10:41 a.m. and demanded money. He warned employees that if he did not get the money, hewould kill them.

Police described the robber as a black male in his early 20s. He was about 6 feet tall, wearing a black knit hat and black jacket.

ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING WOUNDS BOY, 13

A 13-year-old Glen Burnie boy was accidentally shot with a pellet gun Friday, countypolice reported.

The boy and a 12-year-old friend were playing with the gun in the bedroom of a home in the first block of Harvard Road when it went off.

The 13-year-old was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital with a slight wound in his chest.

TWO MEN STRIKE, ROB PEDESTRIAN

A Severna Park man was robbed while walking home Friday.

The police said the man was walking along North Drive at about 7:15 p.m. when two men approached and hit him on the head.

They took about $60 from him before leaving the area.

Police described the robbers as white, with a medium build, and about 6 feet tall.
