Graveside services for Juliet Berry Offutt, who retired as a librarian at the Anne Arundel Community College with the faculty rank of professor, will be held at 11 a.m. today at All Hallows Episcopal Chapel in Davidsonville.
Mrs. Offutt, who was 89 and lived in Crownsville, died last Wednesday at the Pleasant Living Convalescent Center in Edgewater.
She retired from the library in 1983 but continued to volunteer there.
Born in Baltimore, the former Juliet Berry Iglehart graduated from the Bryn Mawr School and made her debut at the Bachelors Cotillon.
She graduated from Wellesley College and earned a master's degree in library science from Columbia University.
Her husband, Dr. Milton Offutt, a retired history professor at the City College of New York, died in 1961, shortly after the couple moved to Crownsville.
