City and Arundel to observe holiday

February 11, 1991

Some city and county services will be suspended tomorrow as the city of Baltimore and Anne Arundel County governments observe a holiday for Abraham Lincoln's birthday.

For most people in the metropolitan area, business will go on as usual with no interruption in services. Government offices and public landfills in Baltimore will be closed tomorrow; trash collections will be suspended. However, Enoch Pratt Library branches will be open, as will schools.

Government offices in Anne Arundel County will be closed but trash will be collected.

In the other counties, expect a normal business day: Government offices, schools and public libraries will be open and trash will be collected. Mail will be delivered.
