Arson investigators arrested a woman Friday morning on charges she set fire to her estranged husband's house in December.

Shelley Weaver, 36, of the 600 block Glen View Drive, was chargedwith one count of arson.

Lt. Gary Sheckells, a fire department spokesman, said the woman set fire to furniture and a family room of a house in the 400 block of Baltic Avenue, in Glen Burnie.

The house, owned by Charles Martin Weaver, sustained $50,000 in damage in the Dec. 7 blaze. Damage to contents was estimated at $35,000.

Sheckellssaid the Weavers were having domestic problems. He could not provideany further details of the investigation.

No one was home during the fire, Sheckells said.

ARNOLD SKELETON IS

Skeletal remains found by a county work crew in Arnold Wednesdayare that of a man police believe was slain three to five years ago, the state Medical Examiner's Office says.

Police have still not identified the body, found in a wooded area off Shot Town Road. Police say the man died from a gunshot wound tothe head. No other details were available.

The work crew discovered the partial skeleton about noon. Investigators searching the area found other bones scattered inthe underbrush.

Police say the victim was wearing a dark blue leather or vinyl jacket, a dark blue shirt with epaulets, Wrangler jeansof an unknown color and some type of laced walking shoes.

TRIO CAUGHT WITH DRUGS

in Annapolis motel

Three people were arrested Feb. 8 on drug charges after county and state police say they watched the trio sell cocaine from three rooms in an Annapolis motel.

Police say they staked out the motel all day Wednesday. .

Police say they obtained search warrants and raided the rooms Friday morning. They say they found $4,473 and 28 grams of crack cocaine with a street valueof $3,000.

Charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and maintaining a common nuisance was Paul Wooden, 30, of the 3700 block of Milford Avenue, and Raymond W. Eggleston, 30, of no fixed address. Charged with possession of crack cocaine was Katrina Coates, of the 7800 block of Willing Court, Glen Burnie.
