4 Finalists For Post Of Council Attorney

The County Council has narrowed to four its list of candidates for the job of council attorney.

The final four selected from among 22 applicants: Edward Andrews, a Bel Air lawyer; Victor Butanis, the former county attorney; Steven Scheinin, an Aberdeen lawyer; and Robin Page West, a Baltimore lawyer.

Council President Jeffrey D. Wilson announced Tuesday night that the council will begin interviewing candidates this month to replace Lester Feinberg, of Bel Air. He resigned as council attorney in January, citing the demands of his growing legal practice.
