Jennifer Sheehan, a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, has received a fellowship from the Center for Political Leadership and Participation. Ms. Sheehan will work with the Women's Caucus in the 1991 session of the Maryland General Assembly.

Two seniors at the College of Notre Dame won top prizes in the Undergraduate Writing Competition sponsored by Delta Epsilon Sigma national scholarship honor society. They are Mia Scharper and Robin Stratton.

Kathy Jo Harris, athletic director of the Catholic High School of Baltimore, was named Division VII Athletic Director of the Year for the State of Maryland.

Experimental physicist Samuel Foner has received the lifetime achievement "Golden Quill" award from the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University.

George B. Harvey was named 1991 Business Leader of the Year by Loyola College's Sellinger School of Business and Management.

Baltimore pianist-musicologist Selma Epstein has been invited to perform an all-Australian women's composers concert for the Women in Music Festival at Georgia State University in April. She has also been nominated for a "Soundings" award from the Australian Music Centre.
