A Mass of Christian burial for Eugene J. Nealon, marketing manager for the Davison Chemical Division of W. R. Grace & Co., will be offered at 9 a.m. today at the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 8501 Loch Raven Blvd.

Mr. Nealon, who was 57 and lived in Towson, died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness.

He joined Davison in 1955 as a research chemist, and he was an expert on catalysts for use in the plastics industry. Born in Scranton, Pa., he was a 1955 graduate of the University of Scranton. He liked to play bridge and hunt.

He is survived by his wife, the former Johanna Pater; two daughters, Maria Jones of Catonsville and Linda Schmelter of Charlottesville, Va.; a son, Mark Nealon of Towson; and two sisters, Annette Kilcullen and Tish Kearny, both of Scranton.
