C. Clayland Price Jr., 72, who had been a farm owner and a naval officer, died Sunday at the Anne Arundel Medical Center after a long illness.

Funeral services were being held today at Christ Episcopal Church in Stevensville.

Survivors include his wife, the former Louise Mitchell Davidson; three sons, Tilghman E., Geoffrey M. and Charles C. Price 3rd, all of Stevensville; four daughters, Patrice P. Preston and Pamela P. Sawyer, both of Baltimore, Carole Frederick of Stevensville and Daena P. Feldman of Annapolis; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggested memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation or to the Katie Feldman Memorial Fund for Children, named for his late granddaughter, at P.O. Box 592 in Stevensville.
