President Bush tapped Baltimore County GOP leader Richard D. Bennett yesterday as the next U.S. attorney for Maryland. If confirmed by the Senate, Mr. Bennett, 43, a former assistant U.S. attorney now in private practice, will replace Breckinridge L. Willcox.
