Dorothy P. Burger, 80, died Monday at Washington County Hospital. A Washington County resident, she was the widow of Leon L. Burger. Survivors include a daughter, Bette J. Reed of Sykesville; sisters Jane Burkholder and Emma Wishard, both of here; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. today at the Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St. here.

R. Elizabeth M. Ruby, 89, died Jan. 28 at Longview Nursing Home. The wife of Jesse Ruby, she is also survived byher sons, Thomas of New Freedom, Pa. and Clarence of Berlin, Worcester County, and brother, George L. Martin of Fairfield, Pa.

Mary Pollock, 86, died Monday at Baltimore County General Hospital. Survivors include daughters Mary B. and Juliana T., both of here; son, George R. of Anne Arundel County; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be at 10 a.m.Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Eldersburg. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Haight Funeral Home,Sykesville.

Leo F. Chrobot, 86, a former resident here, died Thursday at Kent and Queen Anne's Hospital in Kent County. He was the husband of Anna E. Chrobot. A founder and charter member of the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Company, he had served as the company's first fire chief. He also served as president of the Carroll County Firemen's Association. In addition to his wife, survivors include daughters Shirley Howes of here and Pat Good Baker of Wisconsin; stepsons William Coleman of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Jeffrey Coleman of Cecil County; stepdaughters Lena Tomczak of Cecil County and Laurie Bozarth of Anne Arundel County, and several grandchildren.

William A. Collins Sr., 86, died Sunday at Montgomery General Hospital. His survivors include daughters, Jean A. Brooks of Kent County and Betty M. Marck of Kent County; sons Jerry D. andWilliam A. Jr., both of Finksburg, and nine grandchildren.

Gregory J. Kursch Sr., 61, died Saturday at the University Hospital in Baltimore. He was the husband of Betty S. Kursch. He had retired from the Social Security Administration. In addition to his wife,survivors include a daughter, Patricia A. Regler of here; sons Gregory J. Jr., of Prince George's County, Matthew D. and Christopher W., both of here; sister, Joan Sergi of Baltimore, and two grandchildren.A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here at 10 a.m. today.

Nettie M. Doxon, 84,a former resident here, died Sunday in Lewes, Del. She was the wife of the late Roy E. Doxon Sr. and the mother of the late Roy Jr. and Wallace Sr. Survivors include a son, Paul W. of California; daughter, Ruth G. Lingenfelder of Delaware; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Myers Funeral Home, 91 Willis St. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
