How would you describe your taste in clothing?

I love a classic tailored look. For example, a total look for me would be a suit with a nice silk blouse and pearls, or a dress with a jacket. And always the proper shoes.

What's the newest thing in your closet?

It's a new black double-breasted Evan Picone blazer and a good looking houndstooth skirt. What's the oldest thing in your closet?

The oldest things are a couple of Pendleton skirts that never seem to go out of style. And I wear them since I lost weight.

Do you have a true "standby"?

It would be a suit. You can always count on a black suit to do the job.

What have you kept for sentimental reasons?

I have two things, one is my wedding dress and the other is a pair of custom made riding boots, that I bought years ago at Deluxe Saddlery.

What is your wardrobe weakness?

I have several. I like shoes (have at least 20 pairs,)earrings and Chanel type jackets that I can wear with skirts, slacks or a dress.

What's the most expensive item in your closet?

Probably a gray suit that I bought from Bernard Hill.

What's the least expensive item in your closet?

A little cotton knit summer dress that I bought while in California. It's real casual.

What's the wildest outfit you've ever bought?

That too came from California. It's a black Italian skirt that is straight and tight down to the knees, then it flounces out into a scalloped type bottom. It came with a black metallic tank top with a big yellow silk blouse. I wore it with very high black heels with big bows on the front.

What are your favorite accessories?

My favorite accessory are my pearls that were a graduation present from my family. I also like nice belts and good rings.

Do you have any shopping tips you'd like to share?

Think about what you're going for and what you already have that you can build on. And it helps to know the colors that are best on you. My favorite colors are rose, pink and blue.
