* OUTLOOK: The Jacks (28-22-3) are hobbled by injuries to John Purves, Jeff Greenlaw, Kent Paynter, Chris Felix and Bobby Babcock, but remain tied for second place with Binghamton with 59 points. Tonight is the 11th meeting between the Bears and Jacks. The Jacks won 6-5 in Hershey on Saturday. The Bears (22-24-8) are without Len Barrie, Steve Beadle, Bill Armstrong and Tony Horacek. The Caps have placed Bob Joyce on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to the Jacks. If he clears, he won't be available to play until Friday against Rochester.
