Two Men Take Money From Sandwich Shop

Two men, one armed with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed a Brooklyn Park sandwich shop Friday.

Police said the pair entered the store in the 5900 block of Ritchie Highway at about 7:22 p.m. and demanded money.

One of the robbers jumped over the counter and took money out of the register. The other ordered the customers to hand over their cash.

Police described the first robber as a black man in his late teens wearing a dark blue hat and jacket.

The second robber is described as a black man in his late teens and wearing a red coat.


County police are looking for the masked man who robbed a Severna Park restaurant Saturday.

Police said the man walked into the Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 500 block of Ritchie Highway at 9:30 p.m. and demanded money.

The robber took money from three cash registers before walking out the back door.

Police described the man as white, about 20-years-old, with sandy blond hair. He was wearing green sweat pants and a blue bandanna that covered the lower half of his face.
