Because of an error in a legislative schedule compiled by the Associated Press, The Sun incorrectly reported on Sunday this week's hearing schedule for the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Law Enforcement and Transportation.

The subcommittee will receive a briefing today on recidivism rates at Patuxent Institution. On Thursday, the subcommittee will review the budgets of the state Lottery Agency, Police and Correctional Training Commissions, fire prevention commission and fire marshal's office and the inmate grievance commission. The subcommittee meets each day at 2 p.m. in Room 431 of the House Office Building in Annapolis.

10 a.m.: House and Senate convene, State House.

a.m.: House Appropriations Committee receives capital budget overview, Room 130, House Office Building.

1 p.m.: Senate Economic and Environmental Affairs Committee considers variety of bills involving AIDS, Room 200, Senate Office Building.

2:30 p.m.: Senate Finance Committee considers bill to establish one-week waiting period for unemployment insurance benefits, Presidential Wing, Senate Office Building.

There are 62 days remaining in the 1991 General Assembly session.
