Services for Raymond Mayrovitz, a retired Baltimore public-schools teacher and coach, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Sol Levinson and Bros. funeral home, 6010 Reisterstown Road.
Mr. Mayrovitz, who lived on Rockridge Road in the Villa Nova section of Baltimore County, died Thursday at Baltimore County General Hospital of a blood clot resulting from a broken leg. He was 68.
Born in Rochester, N.Y., his family later moved to Chester, Pa., where he graduated from Chester High School.
Mr. Mayrovitz served in the Army during World War II and saw action in Germany and France. After leaving the service, he graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania and later received his master's degree from the University of Maryland.
