An article about Annapolis High School that appeared in Sunday's editions of The Sun incorrectly stated that only whites were permitted to attend the school until a desegregation plan went into effect in 1966. In fact, blacks were allowed to go to Annapolis High in the early '60s, though the vast majority chose to attend Bates High School instead.

The Sun regrets the errors.
