CURRENT volunteers' news and needs:

Stella Maris Hospice Care Program needs volunteers for home care of the terminally ill and/or family bereavement services which include respite care, sitting with patients, personal care // and working with families after the loss of a loved one. Thirty hours of training will be provided for those age 18 and over and will be held 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays beginning March 5. Call Cinta Porter, 252-4500, by Feb. 20.

Save-A-Heart's 15th Celebrity Golf Classic will be held June 10 and 11 at Turf Valley Hotel and Country Club. For golfers and volunteers who want to be involved, call Sylvia F. Dantzic, 653-3131.

Multiple Sclerosis Society wants volunteers to do light housework for clients who are living in their homes or apartments in the Towson or Parkville areas. Call Kate Jacobsen, 821-8626.

Children's Hospital needs volunteers in many areas. Call Donna Wilson, 462-6800.

The Salvation Army wants volunteers age 55 and over to work one-on-one with homeless children who are living in the Booth House, a Salvation Army emergency shelter. Call Ruth Ramsey, 685-8878.

Maryland Committee for UNICEF wants volunteers to staff its gift shop, do office work and help with special projects. Call 467-0562.
