Todd Marinovich, arrested Sunday morning for investigation of possession of cocaine, also allegedly was carrying a small amount of marijuana, police said yesterday.

A police spokesman said tests proved that the white substance allegedly found on Marinovich was cocaine.

Sgt. Andy Gonis of the Newport Beach (Calif.) Police said that an envelope containing four-tenths of a gram of marijuana allegedly was found on Marinovich, the Southern Cal quarterback who recently was suspended from the team.
