Two Gunmen Rob Revco, Take Drugs

County police are looking for two hold-up men who fled a Millersville drug store with prescription drugs and cash Saturday.

Police said the pair walked into the Revco drug store in the 600 block of Old Mill Road at about 7:45 p.m. and demanded the drugs and the money.

The first man took the money and the pharmacist gave the second robber an unknown amount of Dilaudid tablets.

The men then left thestore. Police gave no description of the robbers.


A man armed with an automatic handgun robbed a Millersville convenience store Sunday.

County police said the robber walked into the High's Dairy Store in the 600 block of Old Mill Road at 9:30 p.m. and demanded money. The clerk gave him the money and the robber ran out of the store.

The police described the robber as a black male, about 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds. He waswearing a black leather jacket, black jeans and was armed with a blue automatic handgun.


A Millersville man has been charged with robbing a gas station Sunday, countypolice said.

Steven Calvin Barrett, 32, of the 8300 block of Brookwood Road, was charged shortly after a man robbed the Crown gas station at the intersection of Route 3 and Old Mill Road.

Police said a man walked into the station at about 7:19 p.m. and demanded money from the 16-year-old clerk.

The clerk gave the robber $405. The robber left the station in a red pickup heading north on Route 3.

Police arrested Barrett near the Millersville landfill.


An Annapolis man has been charged with several traffic violations after leading police on a high speed chase down Route 50 early Sunday morning, police said.

Joel Robert Hooper, 23, of the 1100 block Lake Heron Drive, was charged with attempting to elude, driving with a revoked license and speeding.
