Thelma M. Welborn Cleaning supervisor

Services for Thelma M. Welborn, a supervisor for an office cleaning company, will be held at noon today at St. Paul Church of God in Christ Jesus Apostolic, Lakewood Avenue and Hoffman Street.

Miss Welborn, who was 42, was killed Wednesday at her home on Random Road. A former friend of her daughter's was charged with murder.

Since July, she worked part time for Broadway Services. For five years before, she drove cars off ships for Hoblemann Port Services Inc.

Earlier, she worked for the Met Electrical Testing Co. and for London Fog, the clothing manufacturer.

She was born in Baltimore and graduated from Dunbar High School.

Miss Welborn is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Savoy; a son, Steven Savoy; her mother, Mary Welborn; three sisters, Alice Johnson, Geraldine Welborn and Ruth Allen; and two brothers, John and Kenneth Welborn. All are of Baltimore.
