Dario F. Francioli

Dario F. Francioli, a retired furniture store executive, died Thursday at Greater Baltimore Medical Center after a long illness. He was 69 and a resident of northeast Baltimore.

A mass of Christian burial for Mr. Francioli was being offered today at Our Lady of Pompei Roman Catholic Church, Conkling Street and Claremont Avenue.

A native of Monessen, Pa., he was reared in East Baltimore and attended Our Lady of Pompei School and Patterson High School.

Mr. Francioli served with the Marines during World War II and saw action in the Pacific.

He retired in 1988 after 21 years with the Levenson and Klein furniture company.

Mr. Francioli was a member of various furniture associations and was active in the Charles Evering VFW Post No. 6506 and the United Democratic Club.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, the former Elizabeth D. Fratta; a daughter, Daria L. Fitzgerald of Glendale, Calif.; and a brother, Mario W. Francioli of Baltimore.
