Nurse From Sykesville Is Spirited

January 20, 1991

BALTIMORE — Registered nurse Linda Stevens of Sykesville was selected the recipient of St. Agnes Hospital's Vincentian Spirit Award for November.

The award is given each month to the St. Agnes employee who best demonstrates the hospital's five core values: respect, quality service, simplicity, advocacy for the poor and inventiveness to infinity.

Stevens, a nurse in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, was recognized by her supervisor, Grace D. Rollinger, for the quality of service she provides, as well as her respect and courtesy for patients, their families, co-workers and physicians.

"She works diligently with patients and their families," Rollinger said.

Stevens has been a nurse at St. Agnes since 1972 and also has worked in the Coronary Care Unit.

"I consider Ms. Stevens a role model in every aspect of her life," Rollinger said.
