The following accounts were compiled by reporter Richard Irwin from police records in the Baltimore area yesterday and today.

Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Iona Terrace reported that someone broke into her home yesterday by forcing the kitchen door and removed a TV and stereo equipment. Police said the property was valued at nearly $400.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Anna Grams, of the 3300 block of Chesterfield Ave., reported she was walking in the 3400 block of Belair Road about 11 a.m. yesterday when she was attacked by a man who knocked her to the pavement and stole her purse containing cash, papers and bus tokens. Police said the value of the property was about $30.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police said a man who attempted to leave the Food Rite store in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road without paying for items valued at about $10 was detained by a store security officer who recovered the items and allowed the man to leave when he produced proper identification. Police said store officials were expected to take the man to court to answer theft charges.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police yesterday arrested a man who attempted to leave the Ames department store in the 2500 block of Belair Road without paying for a pair of shoes. Police said the man was wearing the shoes when he tried to flee.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Dorothy Mullins, of the 3500 block of Lyndale Ave., told police she was in the 2800 block of Edison Highway yesterday afternoon when she was pushed to the pavement by a man who stole her purse containing cash and property, valued at more than $300.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Robert Anthony, of the 400 block of Laurens St., reported he was standing outside a motel in the 6400 block of Pulaski Highway yesterday morning when he was accosted by a man who forced him to give up his money while implying he had a handgun. Police said the man escaped with nearly $400 in cash.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 7300 block of Mallory Court reported that someone broke into her home and removed property valued at nearly $100.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a man entered the Valu Food store in the 4200 block of Frankford Ave. yesterday and fled moments later with baby formula valued at $50. Police said the man was seen getting into a car occupied by two other men.

ROBBERY TRY: Northeastern District -- Viola Pulley, of the 5500 block of Whitby Road, reported she was walking near her home yesterday when she was approached from behind by a man who knocked her down and pressed a handgun to her side. Police said that, while Pulley was on the ground, the gunman rifled her pockets for money or valuables. Finding none, he fled.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Officials of Shasta Beverages Inc. in the 6700 block of Moravia Park Drive reported that a man entered the building yesterday afternoon and removed 10 wooden pallets. Police said the pallets were valued at $80.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1600 block of Ralworth Road by forcing a rear door and removed cash and jewelry. Police said the property was valued at nearly $1,700.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Zelma Parker, of the 5100 block of Groton Road, told police she was in the 5900 block of Daywalt Ave. when she was assaulted by a man in his 20s who robbed her of the purse she was carrying. Police said the purse contained cash and property, valued at nearly $70.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1400 block of Meridene Drive by forcing a rear door and removed more than $2,000 worth of jewelry.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that an employee of Domino's Pizza in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road was making a delivery in the 1200 block of Lynworth Ave. late yesterday evening when he was stopped by a youth in his teens who pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money. Police said the gunman fled with the pizza, a pizza warmer and cash. Police said the total value of the items was nearly $75.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Brunell Cutler, of the 1500 block of Montpelier St., reported that a man she knows pointed a handgun at her at her home yesterday evening. Police said the man fled and that Cutler was expected to seek a warrant for his arrest.

THEFT: Northern District -- Employees of Ed Rogers used cars in the 500 block of E. 25th St. reported that someone entered the property and removed a radio and a radiator cap from a 1989 Pontiac. Police said the equipment was valued at nearly $500.

THEFT: Northern District -- Officials at Sinai Hospital in the 2400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. reported that someone entered a storeroom and removed a case of film. Police said the film was valued at more than $600.
