Revenues at this Hunt Valley-based environmental study and cleanup company continued to grow in its first fiscal quarter, but earnings for the period that ended Nov. 30 sagged because of hiring and reorganization costs.
Loren Jensen, founder and president of the company, said the division that examines underground tanks has been doing well but that the company's recently acquired engineering division lost business. In addition, profits were sapped by expansion and hiring at the laboratory.
